Learn How To Make The Perfect French Omelette With Julia Child’s Video

This 1960s video offers a lot of great tips for making classic French omelettes, the tender, golden ovals that take about 20 seconds to make. Who better to learn how to get it right from every time than Julia Child?

In the short video, Julia shows us what kind of pan is best to use, how to shake the pan, and how to fold the omelette onto the plate. My favourite parts are when she uses chopsticks to beat the eggs and adjust the omelette in the pan. She was a lifehacker ahead of her time.
