1PasswordAnywhere Lets You Access Your 1Password Vault On The Web

1Password is one of our favourite password managers, and it can sync to all your devices via Dropbox. Once you sync your vault of passwords, 1Password actually lets you access them on any device without installing the app.

The feature, called 1PasswordAnywhere, allows you to access your vault when you enable Dropbox syncing. Head on over to your Dropbox via a web browser, open the 1Password folder and then open the 1Password.agilekeychain folder. Inside that folder you’ll see the 1Password.html file. Click on that file and enter your 1Password Master Password and then you have read-only access to your vault.

I use this to access my passwords via Chromebook since Agilebits doesn’t have a native app on that platform. 1PasswordAnywhere works well if you only need it occasionally on an alternate platform. You still need to buy at least one version of the program on Windows, Mac or iOS and enable Dropbox syncing for 1PassswordAnywhere to work.
