Use An Old CD Case As A Recipe Stand

If you have a collection of recipes scribbled on notes, then old CD cases can be of help in the kitchen. Used correctly, the CD case acts as a propped up, stain-free recipe stand, Real Simple says.

Easily display a recipe card during meal prep by opening the CD case and bending it back, then place the card (after cutting it to fit, if necessary) on top.

As Unclutterer notes, this is far easier than taping a recipe to the oven door or a cabinet and then having to worry about removing adhesive residue later. Plus, you probably have some CD cases lying around anyway, or someone you know will, so it’s practically free.
