Flickr user Skarjoko’s Linux desktop utilises elementaryOS, one of our favourite Linux distros for customisation. Here’s how you can make your computer look like this.
- The wallpaper, which is one of the defaults from eOS, all of which you can download at Unixmen here
- The Numix Project theme suite for the icons and the app launcher dock at the bottom
- Conky, a lightweight system monitor for Linux systems
- The Conky-Harmattan skin for Conky to display the weather on the desktop
That’s all there is to it. A lot of what makes this desktop beautiful is in the general look and feel of eOS. If you’re using eOS, or just thinking about Linux, this is a great way to get started. If you’re curious about the setup or have other questions, head over to Skarjoko’s Flickr page linked below to check it out and ask your questions!
