The Right Way To Iron A Dress Shirt

We’ve talked about ways to get wrinkles out of clothes without having to iron, but honestly, sometimes ironing is the best way to make your shirts look good and get them wrinkle free. It doesn’t have to be a hassle either. This video from The Art of Manliness shows you how it’s done.

The video walks you through the basics of ironing, from making sure you actually read the label for directions on using the right heat setting for the fabric, to making sure the collars and cuffs are ironed properly as well. We’ve shown you the ins and outs of proper ironing technique, along with some ways to de-wrinkle your clothes without an iron. However, it’s sometimes just easier to do it right the first time instead of trying to hack your away around clean, well-pressed clothes.
