Android: The next time someone calls you, you might be able to check out their recent Facebook status, find out if it’s their birthday, or see the last text messages you shared with them, thanks to a new app called TalkSide.
The idea behind the app is to add context to your calls by giving you information about whoever you are talking to. When setting up the app, it’s important to sync it with your Facebook. TalkSide will automatically make some connections between your contacts and Facebook, but you’ll also have to give manual input in some cases. Then, just choose which of the options you want to be displayed when you are talking.
Like Current Caller ID, you get the latest Facebook updates, but the added benefit lies in getting some personal context through your recent text messages reminding you what you last spoke about. There’s also the ability to quickly share your recent photos with the other party, which is quite cool.
