Remove Crystals From Honey With A Hot Water Bath

Remove Crystals From Honey With A Hot Water Bath

Sometimes, your jar of honey will get crystals forming at the sides because it hasn’t been closed properly and moisture has gone into the jar. But don’t worry, it’s not ruined! The One Pot Chef has an easy way to fix that.

Shut the lid of your honey tight and place it in a large bowl. Then just pour hot water (you don’t need boiling water, hot water from the tap will do) into the bowl. You don’t want to submerge the honey jar entirely, about three-quarters should be fine. Let it stand for about 10 minutes and your honey should be back to its original form.
