Contacts+ Updates, Adds Quick Action Buttons And Customisation Tools

Android: Contacts+, our favourite address book for Android, picked up an update this week. The new version gives you more control over how you browse your contacts, and offers quick-action buttons to let you call, email, or text people directly from your contacts list.

The updated version definitely features a fresh coat of paint, but there’s a bit more going on under the hood. You can customise the contacts list as well as the portraits for each person in your contacts (choose from round or square portrait photos). Long-pressing on any contact will bring up quick action buttons that let you immediately call, text or email that person using your preferred apps. The dialler has been updated to support numerical and text search, and the rest of the app has picked up a performance boost and a general overhaul to fit in more smoothly with Android’s own UI.
