Lifetime Accounts Return To Feedly

Feedly users hoping the RSS reader would reintroduce lifetime subscriptions, well, your wish was granted a few days ago with the service’s 17.4 update.

Previously, subscriptions for Feedly Pro were available monthly or yearly, for $US5 and $US45 respectively. As of late last week, a third option is now available for a never-ending subscription, if you’re willing to part with the chunky sum of $US299.

That said, the blog post on the update suggests requests for its return were coming from corporate users with “the key motivation [being] simpler payment and simpler expensing”.

Still, if you’re into the Pro features and would like to fire-and-forget paying for it, now you can.
