Feedly Adds ‘Lite’ Article Searching For Free

Feedly’s still chugging forward, adding features at a surprisingly fast pace compared to our favourite RSS reader. Recently, it added a “lite” version of article searches for free users, as well as new home views and popular articles, as well as a few features for the Pro crowd.

The article search is the most interesting new feature here, letting you see the first result of any search you run through your feeds. Searching was previously a Pro-only feature, and Pro users still get the benefits of more than one search result, but if you know exactly what you’re looking for, that one search result can be pretty handy.

Free users also get new home views, a list of popular articles and better feed searching under “Add Content”. Pro users will see faster article fetching and custom sharing, as well as a roadmap that tells you what’s on the horizon. Check out Feedly’s full blog post for more info on all the new stuff.
