1Password Gets Password Sharing, Better Encryption

1Password Gets Password Sharing, Better Encryption

Mac: 1Password, one of our favourite password managers, has just received a huge update on OS X. It sports a brand new interface, password sharing, all-new browser extensions, better encryption, Wi-Fi sync, favourites, and integration with other apps.

That’s a mouthful, but seriously: this version of 1Password has a lot of new stuff. It’s completely redesigned for OS X Mavericks, with all-new extensions and a menu bar utility for quick access. More interesting is the addition of shared vaults and shared items, perfect for sharing passwords with other people. You’ll also find new security enhancements, Wi-Fi sync, iCloud sync, quick access to favourites, and integration with Alfred, Launchbar and Quicksilver for quick searches.

If you bought 1Password in the Mac App Store or bought it from the web site in 2013, you can grab 1Password 4 for free. New customers can get it for 20% off at $US39.99 (or $US34.99 if you bought it prior to 2013). Hit the link below to read more.
