Nexus 7 Now For Sale On Google Play Australia

When the 2013 edition Nexus 7 went on sale in Australia late last month, it was only available in retail stores. If you prefer going direct, you’re now in luck: from today, the Nexus 7 is also on sale through the Google Play store. Also revealed: Australian pricing for when the LTE/4G version eventually becomes available.

Pricing for the 16GB ($299) and 32GB ($399) models is the same as in retail stores. Right now Google is offering free shipping, but that deal is said to be for a “limited time”.

Google Play also says a 32GB LTE model is “coming soon” for $439. No ordering link, but if you haven’t succumbed yet, it might be worth waiting.
