Curious about point #3. I appreciate that having some choice is good (eg. A Mastercard where a Visa doesn’t work or something silly like that. Especially overseas where there is different penetration by respective brands), but with credit-card fees often being applied every month whether you’ve used it or not, why throw money away? Or is this one of those silly US “Credit Rating” things being published in Australia. Yes we have credit ratings here, but nothing as crazy as the US.
However, the rest is true. But the final tip for ideal credit is “Don’t get married”. Love my wife dearly, but we’re still paying for that wedding. However, I did say for “Credit” not for “life”.
