Quad Drawer Opens Apps Faster, Sorts Your Cluttered App Drawer

Android: Even the best-organised Android phone can a pain to browse if you have lots of apps and cluttered home screens. Quad Drawer gets you to your apps faster. The app can sort your apps the way you like, or let you type their name on a T9 or your regular keyboard to open them.

Quad Drawer started life at a T9 app launcher. For those folks who still use and love T9, you’ll be happy to learn that you can toggle Quad Drawer and immediately start typing in T9 to sort down to the app you want and launch it, the way it’s shown in the video above. If you prefer a standard keyboard, Quad Drawer can use that too. Launch it, start typing the name of the app you want, and it’s auto sorted for you. Just tap the app you want and it opens.

In addition to typing app names to launch them, Quad Drawer also lists your apps alphabetically, by most often used, and recently used in tabs across the top of the launcher. Swiping left and right switches views, and you can toggle the default layout at any time. You can also uninstall, add to home screen, view at Google Play, or visit the App Info settings page directly from Quad Drawer. If you haven’t found a favourite app launcher or switcher yet, Quad Drawer is only a dollar on Google Play.
