Peel The Shells Off Multiple Hard-Boiled Eggs In Under 10 Seconds

Peel The Shells Off Multiple Hard-Boiled Eggs In Under 10 Seconds

Want to shell a lot of boiled eggs fast? As this Japanese variety show demonstrates, all you need is a Tupperware container and a quick shake to shell multiple eggs all at once.

Half-fill the container with water (as a bonus, you can use it for cooling down your eggs after boiling). Close and shake vigorously. The shells fall off the eggs. In the video above, “Ultraman” does five eggs in 10 seconds, and most of that time is taking the eggs out of the container.

This is a variation on the previously mentioned /”bumper car” method, where you shake the boiled eggs in a pan (and not unlike peeling garlic with a good shake). After trying the Tupperware method this morning, I have two pieces of advice: Use a shallow container and shake really hard.

Thanks Kagnon and Kerensky97!
