iOS: Contacts+ syncs information from all of your connected services to give you complete contact cards for your friends, organised with big photos of each person. One tap calls them, another gets you up to speed on what they’ve been doing lately.
The video above gives you a good idea of how it works. One tap brings up a contact card full of information from all of your social networks and other services. Another tap calls your friend or sends them a text right from within Contacts+, and another will show you their latest posts on Facebook, their Twitter stream, updates on LinkedIn or Google+, and so on.
The app also makes it easy to organise your contacts into groups or call them quickly by tapping and holding their contact photo. It will even notify you when it’s one of your friends’ birthday, so you can call them or send them a text.
Contacts+ is completely free (and also available for Android). There may be premium features in the future, but the power that the app offers now is already a huge improvement over the default contacts app, and it’s on par with our old favourite address book for iPhone, Smartr Contacts, which was recently acquired and shuttered by Yahoo.
