Time Warp Keeps You Focused, Helps You Avoid Distracting Websites

Chrome: If you have trouble getting things done without finding yourself on Facebook, Twitter or your favourite productivity blog, Time Warp can help. It tells Chrome to show you a message when you try to procrastinate, redirect you somewhere else or time you so you see how much time you’re wasting.

Once installed, Time Warp lets you create three different types of “wormholes” or actions that will give your willpower the boost it needs to stop procrastinating and get back to work. First, you can tell the tool to redirect you to a specific website when you try to visit a time-wasting one, like the Google homepage when you try to go to Facebook, for example. Second, you can have Time Warp display a quote or message from you when you try to visit a time-wasting website. Finally, you can tell Time Warp to start a timer, so you can see exactly how much time you’ve spent (or wasted) on a given site.

The add-on is available in the Chrome Web Store at the link below, and it works everywhere Chrome does.
