SwiftKey Adds Cloud Backup And Sync In Case You Reinstall Or Upgrade


Android: SwiftKey unveiled SwiftKey Cloud today, a service that automatically backs up your personal dictionary, predictions and other customisations. This means that you don’t need to train SwiftKey from scratch in the case that you lose your device or get a new phone.

SwiftKey Cloud is part of the latest SwiftKey Beta. In addition to giving you a way to back up your SwiftKey data in case you get a new device, SwiftKey Cloud can also keep your data synchronised across multiple Android devices, like a phone and a tablet, so you get the same predictions and have the same personal dictionary on all of them.

Along with the new cloud service, the latest beta comes a few other features that have been in SwiftKey for a while, which you can see in the video above. You can grab the beta for free at the link below.
