Chrome: If you have a lot of RSS feeds in your RSS reader, then chances are you’re seeing a lot of stuff you’re not interested in. If you want to hide content you don’t actively care about in Feedly or Old Reader, Reader Filter is an extension that makes that possible.
All you need to get Reader Filter working is a set of filters. Just pop into the settings page, and start adding whatever you want to hide in your feeds into the “What to hide” section. If you’re sick of Apple news, just add “Apple” “iPhone” and “iPad”. You can also tweak some layout options, including getting rid of social buttons. If you’re using Feedly or The Old Reader for RSS, Reader Filter is a must-have to keep those RSS feeds manageable.
