Google Upgrades Webmaster Tools Interface

Google has revamped its interface for Webmaster Tools, dividing the tools into four main areas (crawl, index, traffic and appearance) and making it easier to access administrative tools from the Settings menu.

A new pop-up tool also demonstrates how different elements in your page’s source code will influence its appearance in Google’s search results. That’s useful for beginning webmasters and anyone who isn’t familiar with the details of Google’s indexing process. Hit the Google blog post for more details.
