Producteev Goes Free, Unveils New Features For Group To-Dos

Android/iOS/Mac/Web: To-do service Producteev, one of your favorite group to-do management tools, unveiled a major overhaul to its webapp today that’s aimed at making your personal to-dos easier to follow, and group projects easier to manage.

If you collaborate on your projects and to-dos with other people, there’s a lot in this update for you. The updates now allow you to assign to-dos to multiple people instead of one to-do per person, sort to-dos by assigned versus the ones you have to do, filter your to-dos so you can get to the ones you need to act on more rapidly, and categorise your to-dos with tags. The service has also updated its built-in notifications so you can choose when and how you’re alerted that something is due — you can opt for email, push notification, via Notificiation centre, or whatever combination you prefer.

We’ve mentioned Producteev before, so if you’ve been thinking about giving the service a try, today’s update may be worth a look. You’ll see the new interface and group organisation features first in the webapp, but Producteev’s OS X, iOS and Android apps will keep you in touch with your to-dos on the go as well. The service is free for individuals, and you can manage as many projects as you want for free — as soon as you start adding people to your workspaces and collaborating with others, you’ll have to pay money per user. If you’re just using it to organise your own life though, you can get by using the free plan.
