Wunderlist Unveils New UI And Group Premium Tools

Wunderlist, one of our favourite to-do apps, took the wraps off of Wunderlist Pro today, aimed at helping groups stay organised. The new premium version is packed with collaboration tools, but if you’re an individual, free user, there’s a lot to love in today’s update as well.

Free users and individual accounts will see a brand new UI that has been tweaked to bring some of the new features unveiled in Wunderlist 2 to the front. The new “action bar” makes it easier to email to-dos and lists, share them with others, and quickly see who’s working on what items. The bar also makes it easy to quickly sort your to-dos and lists, so the things you need to work on are right up front.

Wunderlist Pro is a new premium service for $US5/month (or $US50/year) that includes features for groups and teams that need a more robust collaboration tool. Wunderkit users may find some of these features familiar (even though Wunderkit is shutting down), including the ability to easily assign to-dos to others, share lists with observers that can offer feedback on your plans, and as many subtasks and dependent to-dos for any item on your list as you need. Wunderlist Pro users also get some custom backgrounds to customise the look and feel of the app. You can read more about the features in Wunderlist Pro here.

The new updates are available now in Wunderlist’s web app, as well as in its iOS and Mac downloadable apps. Updates to the Windows and Android apps are on the way soon.
