- Chinese telecommunications giant Huawei has announced it’s no longer interested in tendering for any work associated with the National Broadband Network following a ban on tendering for work since March last year. “For us, we don’t hold this dying hope of [being involved in the] NBN, we have moved on from that initial decision,” the Chairman of Huawei Australia told the AFR today. - Optus has announced a range of Qantas Frequent Flyer bonus points offers for new and existing customers. Postpaid customers who upgrade their service to a $60 or above Optus plan with a new smartphone will receive 8000 bonus QFF points. New customers, meanwhile, will net 4000 bonus QFF points when they sign up to the same plans. The Qantas Frequent Flyer Bonus offer is valid for purchases made before 30 June 2013.
