The Corner Text Android Home Screen


Lifehacker reader SPoZB gives the minimalist look a bit of extra style with some cool text widgets. Here you can see he has put one in each corner of his Android home screen.

I enabled overlapping widgets to fit the 1×1 weather widget into the corner of the time widget. I also disabled the status bar to remove some clutter from the screen.

The icon in the lower right is a folder containing my most frequently used apps.

I set no background image, feeling that placing this on a solid black background gave it a very clean look. Each of the dock bar icons has swipe actions assigned.
