We’ve shared quite a few DIY tips for automating your home, but YouTube user Elvis Impersonator takes it a step further, controlling everything in his house with the help of Siri and a Raspberry Pi.
Elvis Impersonator’s tricks all revolve around SiriProxy, a tool we have talked about once before — but he’s got loads of plugins for it:
- Open the garage door
- Enable or disable the security alarm
- Adjust the thermostat
- View the security cameras around his house
- Turn off, turn on, or dim the lights
- Change the channel on the TV, or turn it off
