The Clock-Watcher’s Windows Desktop


Sometimes the best desktops are the ones that keep us on track, and sometimes the best are the ones that keep us up to date on what’s going on. This one walks the line between the two.

Flickr user Ibadat Qayyum keeps the focus of this desktop on the clock and the wallpaper. The widgets are secondary and keep you up to date on what’s playing, new mail and the weather. If you like the look of this one, here’s what you need to make it:

The taskbar here is hidden, although an application launcher of some kind wouldn’t be unwelcome — although it might disturb the minimal style. We’ll leave that up to you to decide.
