Don’t have a cherry pitter on hand? No problem! Use a chopstick to push out the pit into a bottle, for very little clean up.
This tip comes from Haley Harmon of Don’t Eat the Paintings. Using the bottle to collect the stems and pits is an improvement over a messier strategy of using just a chopstick and a bowl. The picture above pretty much tells you all you need to know about this fast technique.
Chopsticks are terrific multipurpose tools, aren’t they?
