Level Up Your Search Skills With Google’s Advanced Course

Your Google-fu is probably already pretty strong, but are you an “advanced” power searcher? You can find out when you take Google’s upcoming Advanced Power Searching course.

A follow-up to their free basic power searching course, this new course promises to help you “take your search strategies to a new level with sophisticated, independent search challenges.”

The syllabus for the two-week course includes twelve challenges, such as “Mimicking presidential voices,” “Name that notebook,” and “Feather identification.” (Similar to the Search Research column by Google Search course teacher Daniel Russell.)

After completing the course, you can earn an Advanced Power Searching certificate for bragging rights.

The course starts on January 23rd. If you register now, you’ll get a reminder when the courses start.
