AWS App Brings Management Console To Android

Amazon has introduced an Android app for access to the management console for its Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud offering. Amazon has also tweaked its existing management console to offer new features, including support for endless scrolling to make the console more usable on tablet devices.

The Android app doesn’t offer the full AWS console experience, but lets you see current service charges, switch services between regions (an option perhaps less likely for Australian sites) and start or reboot specific instances. Hit the blog post below for a full round-up of the changes to the main AWS console.
