Kii Keyboard For Android Is Bursting With Customization And Tweaking Options

Android: We’ve established that there’s an Android keyboard for all types, but Kii Keyboard is a new entry to the field that offers themes and layout options along with the features you love from other popular keyboards, all for the low price of free.

Kii offers over a half-dozen keyboard themes, and sports a split keyboard layout that’s thumb-friendly. The keyboard accepts swipe-to-type gesture input like other keyboards do, and sports an extra number and arrow row on the top. Kii also boasts SwiftKey-style text prediction, although it doesn’t connect with social service and email to learn the words you use. The app even supports keyboard themes from other apps, like Go Keyboard.

Granted, keyboards like Swype and SwiftKey have the Android keyboard market locked up, assuming you’re not happy with the stock keyboard in Ice Cream Sandwich or Jelly Bean. Still, if you want more control, Kii gives it to you. It’s free, supports 38 languages, and is available now at Google Play.
