Build Your Own Pandora-Streaming Jukebox With A Raspberry Pi

Pandora is a fantastic option for streaming internet radio, but one of the problems with it is the fact you have to have a PC or smartphone sitting around all the time to use it. Instructables user Ayy created a small, streaming music box that can go anywhere using a Raspberry Pi.

Ayy’s build uses a Raspberry Pi along with a breadboard, a LCD module, some push buttons and a few other random parts to build the circuit and box. From there, the setup requires the installation of the Terminal-based Pianobar to play Pandora, and then a few tweaks to the keyboard shortcuts so they work with the buttons. After that, you just need to create the circuit to connect the buttons and LCD to the Raspberry Pi, and then build the box. It’s a long process that’s a little complicated, but Ayy’s Instructable makes it sound easy.
