Share From Google Drive To Google+

Got a document or photo stored on Google Drive and want to share it with others? Google has added the ability to share from Drive directly into its Google+ social network.

The Google+ option now appears when you click on the Share button in any document. Note that the option won’t work for private documents; you need to set sharing options to either ‘Anyone with a link’ or ‘Public on the web’.

Finding this useful presupposes you regularly make use of Google+, which seems a tad unlikely overall. (I only ever go into Google+ myself to use hangouts.) If nothing else, adding this feature suggests Google hasn’t yet given up on the Google+ platform.
