Nexus 4 Still Not Back On Sale In Australia

When Google’s Nexus 4 Android phone first went on sale, it sold out incredibly quickly. US customers have been given a second opportunity to order the phone directly from Google, but that option doesn’t extend to Australia.

Android Central reports that the devices went back on sale at noon Pacific time in the US (that was 7am AEDT). However, while American buyers are apparently experiencing a similar kind of meltdown, the Australian version of the Play store still displays the “We are out of inventory. Please check back soon.” message for both the 8GB and 16GB models.

If you’re uber-keen, you can order one for over-the-odds money from Mobicity, but even that only represents a pre-order.
