Make A Foldable Desk From Cabinet Doors

Need somewhere to work but space is tight? DIYer Simon explains how he constructed a completely collapsible workspace using cupboard doors from IKEA.

The cupboards might seem like a strange choice, but their low cost and high level of configurability make them perfect for fitting specific needs. The main portion of Simon’s desk folds up into the wall to create more space in the room when not in use, while the left portion holds the computer and other peripherals inside a small cupboard. The monitor attached to the wall is a nice touch, since it doesn’t require any desk space at all. Hit the link to see more about how it was all put together.
