LazyTruth Fact Check Chain Emails, Responds With The Truth

Chrome: Do you still get those, “child stuck in a well, send money” chain emails from family members or friends? They’re annoying to say the least, and chances are you usually just ignore them. However, if you’d like to educate those who send them, LazyTruth is a Chrome extension for Gmail that checks the facts, and replies with the truth.

You’ll find plenty of fact checking web sites out there, but LazyTruth is handy because you don’t have to really do any work. Just click the extension, LazyTruth checks everything out, and then sends the facts back to the sender. It’s impossible to say whether this will make your friends and relatives stop sending you ridiculous chain emails, but at the very least it gives you the chance to show them the error of their ways.
