Since a hackerspace is essentially a non-profit meeting place, it’s a difficult process to start your own. Adafruit’s guide deals out all the information you’ll need, starting with a quick rundown of what a hackerspace is, space requirements, finding locations, members and resources. The seven-part series is currently only on the second part, but over the next few days you will get all the information you need. Of course, if you can, it’s always easy to join a hackerspace already established in your community.
