Sometimes drawers get stuck on their stuck on their tracks, making it difficult to pull them open. How-to illustrator Yumi Sakugawa points out that you can get them moving more smoothly if you lubricate the tracks with lip balm.
The process is pretty easy, if you can manage to pull out the drawer at least once. Just run the lip balm stick over the track, and the wheels on the drawer will move back and forth more easily. Yumi also notes that this works great for the ridges of a medicine cabinet.
