Evernote 5 For Mac Offers Revamped Interface

Mac: Evernote has released a beta of its new Mac client. Version 5 sports a completely redesigned interface that makes organising your notes even easier, as well as adding maps and smarter searching.

The new client is a total overhaul, and it’s a huge improvement on the old version of Evernote. You get a handy Shortcuts menu in the sidebar where you can paste your favourite notes, tags and notebooks for quick access, as well as faster, smarter search for finding your notes right away.

The new layout presents things in a very attractive, easy-to-browse way, and adds new features including a maps view and new ways to collaborate with others. Check out the video above to see the new features in action, or hit the link below to access the beta.

Evernote 5 is a free download for Mac OS X only.
