Any.DO Now Turns Email Into Tasks

Any.DO, one of our favourite to-do list managers, now lets you quickly turn any email in Gmail into an actionable task via its newly-updated Chrome extension. The tasks are automatically synced across Any.DO’s Android and iOS apps, as well as the Chrome extension. Not using Chrome or Gmail? Any.DO will also let you forward emails to turn them into tasks.

If you’re using the Chrome extension, you’ll see a new “Remind Me” button in Gmail when you open an email. There are just three steps to turn the email into a task: Click the Any.DO button, give the task a title, and select its due date (today, tomorrow, later or custom). To create a task from other email clients and without the Chrome extension, you can send an email to [email protected].

While Gmail already has integration with Google Tasks, one of the benefits of using Any.DO for your email-to-task needs is Any.DO’s extended set of features, including adding reminders and dragging-and-dropping tasks, and a beautiful and intuitive interface.
