Dolphin Jetpack Supercharges Dolphin Browser

Android: The team behind Dolphin, our favourite browser for Android, has put a lot of focus on making the mobile browsing experience as fast as possible. Dolphin Jetpack, a new add-on engine for the Dolphin Browser, is the latest result of their efforts. According to the developers, it makes Dolphin up to 10 times faster than the stock Android browser and twice as fast as Chrome.

Of course, your mileage may vary on your own Android phone, but in our tests Jetpack did amount to significant speed improvements over both stock and the standalone version of Dolphin. After you install Jetpack and launch it once, the new engine will keep running in the background even if you launch Dolphin right from its icon.

You’ll need Dolphin 9.0 or higher for Jetpack to run, but once you have it, you’re good to go. If you don’t have the latest version of Dolphin, make sure to update, or grab the latest version from Google Play before installing Jetpack. You can grab Jetpack from the link below.
