Camera ZOOM FX Adds New Camera Controls

Android: Camera ZOOM FX is our favourite camera app for Android, and a major update this week only adds to the features that make it such a great tool. The new version brings a completely overhauled UI; new controls for ISO, brightness, exposure and light metering; and new photo filters to apply before sharing.

In addition to the camera features, the latest version sports hardware acceleration, and is overall much faster than its predecessor. You also get a golden ratio grid to help you frame your shots, in addition to the existing square grid, circle frame and horizon tools.

The app has a number of other improvements as well, including pinch for digital zoom, an improved shot timer, stability indicators to help you take your shots at the right time, and fancy photo filters you can apply before posting to Facebook or sharing your photo.

The update is free to current users. Normally priced at $5, Camera Zoom FX is on sale right now for $2.74.
