Hack A Kindle Into A Weather Display

A Kindle is already a great reading device. But if you want to get a little more out of it, blogger Matthew Petroff shows off a hack that turns it into a useful weather display.

The hack uses a jailbroken Kindle and a home server. The end result is a great-looking weather display that you can mount to a wall to keep up to date on the weather. The process has a few steps, but you can find the source code and a guide to setting it up for yourself over on Matthew Petroff’s blog.
