Google Knowledge Graph Carousel Hits Australia

Google only officially rolled out its Knowledge Graph search enhancements to its Australian domain last month. Now it’s being enhanced with new “carousel” technology which produces a scrollable series of images when you search for a list, such as ‘Bruce Willis movies’ or ‘the cast of Home & Away‘.

Google’s Inside Search blog says that the carousel option, which is already featured on the main Google.com domain, will hit other English-language sites including Australia over the next few days. In another regional enhancement, Google Map Maker and cycling directions, which reached Australia in and respectively, have also been made available for New Zealanders.
