Deter Theft When Moving Houses With An Arduino-Based Alarm System

Moving interstate often means involving a third party to safely transport your furniture and belongings in a moving truck. If you’re concerned about thieves breaking into the truck, you can rig up an alarm system that will give you peace of mind.

Media metrics firm Flint Analytics recently had to pack its office into a large truck and send it off to a new location that would take several days of driving. To alleviate concerns about theft, a proximity sensor was rigged up to an Arduino Diamondback setup. When the alarm is triggered, the audio message in the video above is played and two people received text messages.
