Perfectly Clear For Android Makes Your Mobile Photos Look Fantastic

Android: There are lots of apps that will spruce up your photos taken with your Android phone before you upload them, but Perfectly Clear is a new photo-editing utility that makes the process incredibly simple. Just tap the type of correction you want to apply to your photo, preview the effect, and apply it if you like the way it looks.

The nice thing about Perfectly Clear is that you can toggle specific corrections, like per-pixel exposure corrections, increasing the colour depth, photo sharpening, even removing reddish tones from skin tones. But if you want a one-touch fix, just tap the “fix” button to run the default corrections, which the app says are optimised for most situations. If you prefer your own blend of corrections, you can toggle the ones you like and save the preset so you can use them again.

There’s a “Fix Dark” correction available for those low-light situations, and the “Beautify” option can remove blemishes and red-eye from portrait shots. Perfectly Clear gives you the option of importing your old photos or taking a picture directly from the app. The app will set you back $1 at Google Play if you want to give it a try. If you’re looking for alternatives, you can always check out Snaptastic, which we’ve covered before, or the free Aviary.
