GTD App Things Now Syncs Multiple Devices

Mac/iOS: GTD-inspired to-do manager Things has long lacked one crucial feature: sync across multiple devices. Version 2 of the app adds cloud sync to keep all your to-dos organised and up-to-date.

Cloud task syncing is enabled via a simple on/off switch in the new app. Things 2 also brings new visual polish to all of the Things apps, the ability to use Siri to add to-dos on the iPhone, a new scrolling calendar on the iPhone and iPad, and a new “Daily Review” list of things you want to remember but aren’t exactly due on a specific day for the Mac.

Things fans (and we know there are some of you) have been waiting for this update for a long time, and if you’ve paid for the app in the past, the new version is a free update for you.

If you’re not already a Things user, the price of entry is pretty steep: The Mac app will set you back $51.99, iPhone $10.49, and the iPad $20.99. If the price tag is a bit much for you, free app Wunderlist is our favourite for Mac, Windows, Linux, nd even Android. Even if you don’t care for Wunderlist, you have plenty of options. If you’re a Things user, let us know what you think of the update in the comments.
