Control A Lamp With A Wave Of Your Hand


Clap-on lights are so 1980s. Make shows us how to control any table lamp with a seemingly magical wave of your hand, and all you need is an Arduino and some simple electronics.

Not only can you turn the lamp on and off with a wave, but you can even increase and decrease the brightness by holding your hand over it and raising it upwards. All it requires is a simple Arduino circuit, and you can get all the code you need over at Make’s project page below.
