Apex Launcher Brings Jelly Bean Features To Ice Cream Sandwich

Android: Apex Launcher is already one of the most popular launchers for Ice Cream Sandwich. This week it updated to bring a number of cool Jelly Bean features to those users that are yet to get their hands on the new OS.The new version of the launcher, which is technically in beta, is based on Jelly Bean code, meaning it has quite a few performance improvements under the hood. It has Jelly Bean’s automatic widget resizing, so when you place a widget on the home screen, moves icons out of the way and resizes itself to fit automatically. You can also quickly remove apps and widgets by flinging them to the edge of the home screen, and if you’re on Jelly Bean, you’ll get a few fancy animations as well.

Apex Launcher is a free download for Android, with a $3.99 pro version that adds many more features (and is well worth the money). To update to the beta, download the stable version linked below, then go to Apex’s settings > About Apex Launcher > Automatically check for updates > Beta Version. Then re-check for updates and it should download the latest beta.
