Ovo Timer Is A Fast, Free And Good Looking Countdown Timer For Android

Android: We’ve discussed many timers for Android, but Ovo Timer caught our eye because it’s simple to use, visually impressive and completely free.

Open the app, drag your finger around the screen to set the countdown timer, and when you let go, the timer will start. When it’s finished, the alarm will sound, letting you know it’s time to check the oven, take a break from working, or get off the treadmill.

Much like previously mentioned Timer for Android, Ovo Timer takes a minimalist approach, only displaying how much time is left. You see the time remaining in minutes and seconds on the screen, and also in segments of a circle. Each full circle is an hour, which is the maximum amount of time you can set the clock for.

You can pause the timer at any point by tapping the centre of the circle. When the alarm goes off, you silence it by tapping anywhere on the screen. If you’re not in the app, Ovo will still sound the alarm and pop a notification in the drop-down that you can use to dismiss the alarm.

In the settings, you can customise the alarm sound, set the phone to vibrate when the alarm goes off, and tell the app to keep your screen alive while the timer is running, or let it go to sleep naturally. That’s all there is to it: simple, functional and free.
