Checkmark Creates Location-Based Reminders In Three Taps

iOS: Checkmark is a brilliant to-do app for tasks based on your location. With three taps, you can create tasks that notify you when you get home, arrive at work, or pass by the supermarket, all so you can remember to get stuff done at the right time. This is how iOS reminders should work.

iOS already offers location-based reminders, but they’re a bit time consuming to set up. Checkmark, on the other hand, is set up amazingly well: You add your most oft-visited locations on the home screen — like Home, Work, School, your friend’s house, the bank, and others — and then double-tap one of them to add a location-based reminder for that place. The next time you arrive at that place or pass by, you’ll get a notification reminding you of the task you need to get done there. You can even sort your entire to-do list by distance, delay your notifications until after you’ve been at a location for a while, and more. Check out the video above to see some examples of how it can be used.

Checkmark is a $0.99 download for iOS only.
